The project is based on integrating relief and development sectors by transforming a group of poor and affected Palestinian families from aid-dependent households into productive families capable of securing their own income and meeting their needs independently. This is achieved by financing small projects that generate financial returns for the targeted beneficiaries, enabling them to manage their daily living requirements without reliance on charitable assistance. The project also contributes to reducing poverty and unemployment in the Gaza Strip, particularly in light of the tightened blockade, loss of job opportunities, and resulting humanitarian deterioration.
The Association’s total expenditure on the Small Productive and Income-Generating Projects Support Project during 2021 amounted to approximately USD 14,133, benefiting many poor families in need of support.
