Abu Sa‘id Al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
“Whoever clothes a Muslim who is unclothed, Allah will clothe him with green garments of Paradise.”
Winter is one of the most financially burdensome seasons for Palestinian families, as living expenses increase to cope with severe cold. Under blockade and poverty, residents of the Gaza Strip face winter with limited means, unable to afford winter clothing and blankets—especially for children and school students, who are among the most vulnerable groups. Harsh winter conditions have become a nightmare for poor families, particularly those living in dilapidated homes unprepared for heavy rain and cold winds.
Each winter, the Association distributes winter clothing, blankets, and heaters to poor families to provide warmth, protect them from the cold, and reduce the spread of seasonal illnesses.
The Association’s total expenditure on the Warm Winter Project during 2021 amounted to approximately USD 22,733, benefiting 1,100 individuals.
